Terms of Service

1. Bookings & Payment

All workshop spots must be reserved in advance through our website or by contacting us directly. A booking is confirmed only after full payment is received. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe.

Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of booking will be honored for that transaction.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All sales are final. NO REFUND. NO RESCHEDULE. Plan accordingly — we cannot make exceptions. If you are unable to attend your scheduled workshop, you may transfer your booking to another person at no additional charge by contacting us at least 24 hours before your session.

Customers cannot cancel their own reservations. Please contact our team for help with your booking.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel your session, you will receive a full credit toward a future booking or, at our discretion, a full refund.

3. Arrival & Attendance

We have a strict 15-minute late policy. Our workshops begin with a mandatory safety briefing. Arrive more than 15 minutes late and you forfeit your spot — no refund. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to get settled!

Standard workshops require participants to be at least 14 years old. Our Kids Tufting workshop is open to ages 7–13 using a specially designed kids tufting gun. Minors in standard sessions must be accompanied by a paying adult.

4. Safety Rules & Studio Conduct

Participant safety is our highest priority. By attending a workshop, you agree to:

• Follow all safety instructions provided by our instructors.
• Wear closed-toe shoes at all times in the studio.
• Tie back long hair before using any equipment.
• Refrain from using equipment in an unsafe or reckless manner.
• Refrain from consuming alcohol or controlled substances before or during your session.

We reserve the right to remove any participant who poses a safety risk or engages in disruptive behavior, without refund.

5. Liability Waiver

By booking a workshop, you acknowledge that rug tufting involves the use of power tools and other equipment that carry an inherent risk of injury. You agree to assume all risks associated with participation and release The Tuft Spot, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation.

A full liability waiver is available at tuftspot.com/waiver. Completion of a booking constitutes acceptance of the waiver terms.

6. Gift Cards

Gift cards purchased through our website are non-refundable and have no cash value. They may be redeemed toward any workshop booking. Gift cards do not expire. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

7. Photography & Media

We occasionally photograph or video-record workshop sessions for use in marketing materials and social media. By attending, you grant The Tuft Spot permission to use your likeness in such content. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify an instructor at the start of your session.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of The Tuft Spot and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
